Camp Bestmates

A long-weekend at summer camp, led by Camp Counselors Omar and Kass, to bring out our inner child, maximize queer joy and build community.

Those memories of summer camp with crazy games and competition were peak moments in our childhood. We’ve been chasing that feeling ever since and what better way to recreate that than at an adults-only, all-inclusive in Mexico! This isn’t a retreat. It’s not a wellness conference. It’s not a green juice cleanse in the jungle. It’s grown-ass, adults only, weekend-long summer camp!

Camp Counselors

Omar (he/him) — A fiery Aries who loves to gather community. Jokester, lover and softy at heart.

Kass (she/her/they/them) — A sexy Gemini, also known as Tequila Tio. Known to be the LIFE of the party.

Itinerary

Day 1 — April 10 (Friday) | Arrival

Arrive Cancun, check into Hyatt Vivid Grand Island. Evening welcome reception.

Day 2 — April 11 (Saturday)

• Morning: Optional workout class
• Late Morning: Bestmates Field Day
• Afternoon: Pool day
• Evening: Dinner & social
• Late Night: Group outing to local LGBTQ+ club

Day 3 — April 12 (Sunday)

• Morning: Optional HIIT session
• Late Morning: Bestmates Field Day on beach
• Afternoon: Beach day
• Evening: Dinner & social

Day 4 — April 13 (Monday)

• Late Morning: Bestmates Field Day with inflatable obstacle course
• Afternoon: Poolside recovery & social
• Evening: Dinner

Day 5 — April 14 (Tuesday) | Departure

Depart Cancun.

What’s Included

• Room at adults-only all-inclusive resort (Hyatt Vivid Grand Island)
• All food
• All premium drinks on property
• Round-trip airport transportation*

*Requires same flight arrival or within 30 minutes with camp counselors.

What’s NOT Included

• Drinks and food outside resort
• Flights to/from Cancun
• Tips (bring cash for staff)

Pricing

• Starting at $1,100 per person (total for entire trip)
• $250 deposit per person (refundable until January 30th)
• Balance due: April 1st
• Payment plan: $250 deposit, then 4 equal payments available
• Solo travelers pay more for private room; shared king or double beds available
